I am a local firefighter and agreed to get a scanner set up for one of my fellow firefighters. He would like to monitor these Maryland counties; Charles County, St. Mary's, Calvert County, and Prince Georges County FIRE AND EMS ONLY. Is it possible to program and only scan these specific talkgroups on these systems. I have tried researching but came up with no definite answer. Thank you.

This is possible, but would take some time. The Calvert County is Motorola Type II (all analog) system, Charles County is Motorola Type II (mixed analog and digital) system, and Prince George County is a Project 25 Motorola X2-TDMA systems. The statement “Some talkgroups on this system are using Motorola X2 TDMA modulation which can ONLY be monitored using a GRE PSR-800. Please visit the RR Wiki Project 25 page for additional information” is showing in the Prince Geroge County system, so that will be a problem.
However the St. Mary's County is a EDACS standard system.
You are also looking across four (4) counties in distance. That could be a problem also.
