You didn't say which version you have, but there are Easier to Read manuals for all of them (although they're hardly needed; it's a very simple scanner to program...)

Easier to Read Pro 94 Scanner Manual

Easier to Read Pro-94A/B Scanner Manual

and here's the database ref for Collin county - note that the 94 won't decode anything that's marked 'P25' or 'Project 25' - you'll need a digital trunktracker for those...

Pro-94/Pro-528

Thanks, I looked on the box & found Pro-94 & 20-524. I look on the radio & found Pro-528 & 20-528. Now I know the product number is the 20-XXX number & the Pro-XXX is the model number. I purchased the cable/software for another radio from Radio Shack. It is labeled "Scanning Programming Cable with Trial Software" product number 2000546. The programming cable does not list a Pro-94 or a Pro-528 but the radio does have a PC/IF port on the side. This is really a challenge but I think I am dealing with a Pro-528. I just want to program it with my computer for the new area I live in. Thanks Corky

Good morning is this the scanner you have? http://www.scancat.com/OnLineHelp/OEM_Radio_Owners_Manuals/PRO-528_Users_Guide.pdf
If so this is the software you will need.
THE very Best Trunk Tracking Software for MFJ-8310, MFJ-8322, PRO-404, PRO-405, BCT15X, BCD346XT, BCD396XT, GRE SP-500 BC95XLT BCT-15 BC396 BC996 PRO-433 PRO-528 PRO84 PRO-97 PRO-2051 SC-230 BC-246 PRO-83 PRO-93 PRO-94 PRO-95 PRO-96 PRO99 BC895 BC245
This is not my favorite Radioshack scanner it does work pretty good. This is a Uniden built scanner for Radioshack but it should work until rebanding for trunking or narrowbanding is done for conven channels. If this was an ebay purchase and you do not have much in it and your area is not P-25 Digital the a quick buy of a PRO-107 online for 129.99 until 12/3/2011. Anyway goodluck and enjoy.

I wouldn't use Scancrap for any reason, unless there's nothing out there for it. As it happens, ARC433 works with the PRO-528 and we have our own licensing agreement...

RadioReference.com - Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

The only hitch is that you will still need a USB cable to connect your PC and scanner, as mentioned in the USB article I linked earlier. New PCs don't have serial ports anymore...

best regards...Mike
