Programming BCD396T for Horry County

I am using the BCD396T Uniden Advanced Scanner Director (Ver. 1.4.1.1) to program the Horry County Public Safety Motorola Type II Smartnet.

When prompted for the system type in the UASD new system set up, the drop down list does not include Motorola Type II Smartnet. The Motorola options include the following:

Conventional,
Motorola 800 MHz Type 2 Splinter,
Motorola 900 MHz Type 2,
Motorola VHF,
Motorola UHF,
Motorola 800 MHz Type 1 Standard,
Motorola 800 MHz Type 1 Splinter, and
Motorola P25.

Will one of the above options work?

I am also running the latest version of the scanner firmware: 3.02.02.

Horry county is nothing special do you not have 800 type 2 standard?

The 396T program screen should show you: MOT 800 MHz Standard.

Yes it does. I just went back and rechecked. The options do include 'Motorola 800 MHz Type 2 Standard' which I failed to include in the listing that I provided.

The 396T program screen should show you: MOT 800 MHz Standard.

Yes, it includes 'Motorola 800 MHz Type 1 Standard' and 'Motorola 800 MHz Type 2 Standard'.

Thanks to you and others I will go with the 'Motorola 800 MHz Type 2 Standard'.
