Programming BCD396XT with NASCAR

Plan on buying the 396XT and for a couple of times a year I'd like to also use it for NASCAR scanning. How difficult is it to get the cars frequencies in this unit I know they program the lower end models at the track and I;m sure they can't do the 396XT, so I was looking for the most efficient way to do this,

It not difficult at all. Just set up a system and you can group by car# or series, your call. I have cup, grand national, trucks, east series and ACT tour in my system.

Once the frequency and alpha tag has been programmed, you could program it with a Quick Number tag, then you could access a car # by pressing HOLD, the car number + ".", Menu again, and BAM!, your listening to the car frequency.

This is all good information. Looking forward to receiving the unit and I'm sure there is quite a learning curve on this unit.
