I just got my new 536 and used the nationwide database to start scanning, It says it's monitoring the Alaska Land Mobile Radio system, but it's not, I can hear talk on my Pro 2096, but nothing is happening on the BCD536HP, it acts like it's scanning, but it's not stopping when somebody talks on this system. I enter in a new favorites list and enter frequencies manually there, and hear them, but nothing on the ALMR system. I am pulling my hair out. I can also create favorites on the Sentinel software appending them to the favorite list I created from the nationwide database and it appears to be scanning them, but when I use a handheld such as (FMRS) radio, it doesn't stop scanning, rolls right through the list when I key the mic on my handheld, I can hear it if I stop the scanner and manually go to the frequency and stop right on it though. I need help, does this have something to do with Quick Keys? I have the list turned on in the "select lists to scan" option, but right now, it won't stop on anything but the frequencies I've entered manually.

Check your service types. Also make sure your DB is up to date.
