Boundaries are hard to define, Did you ask to have your space tidied up? If so, you should have stipulated what goes where and what isn't necessary. If not, there needs to be a mutual communication to define the limits within the relationship. I would suggest counseling, to solve your cable situation, there are many posts regarding where you can acquire a replacement. Maybe the both of you can make a project out of researching the correct cable, and the mutual agreed route to make your relationship with your scanner, whole again. Other than that, your own your own… LMAO....

Where did you end up purchasing your cable and did it work? I need to purchase one as well ..... but not for the same reason it was lost. : )
