Trying to program DMR frequency 442.0935 on my DMR upgraded (authorized Whistler upgrade) PRO-668. Using the Whistler Groups EZ Scan programming.

Getting message on software indicting that the frequency is invalid.

Ideas?

Because it is. The 70 centimeter amateur band where that frequency lies is mostly 25 kHz step sizes with a few narrowband and digital repeaters in between (12.5 kHz steps), or even D-Star 6.25khz spacing occasionally. Closest valid frequencies for DMR would be 442.0875 & 442.100

What exactly is this frequency for? Is it listed in the database?
No. Querying the entire RRDB only brings up the two valid frequencies (and their inputs) I mentioned in post #3. There is a D-Star repeater in IL on 442.09375 so I guess that's the closest match, although OP's location lists NJ & the Pro-668 doesn't handle D-Star anyway...

Others have provided the answer, I just wanted to remind you, once you got the Legacy Upgrade from Whistler it is now a WS-1080. Please make sure you are using the proper EZ Scan programming software and FW if you do any updates to the scanner.

The frequency is being used in the NYC Metro area despite its nonconformity with the traditional band plan. Is there a way to program my radio?

In the scanner with Flex Step on or off the best you will get is 442.0925, however the .001 difference should still allow you to hear the transmissions. You will not be able to program in 442.0935 with the USA Band Plan.
