Programming EDACS in RS 2096????

Hi All, I have programmed in some Motorola APCO 25 systems, now I have to do a bank with EDACS for Livonia Police, I have noticed that the PD talk groups have 2 numbers and a dash ie. 21-110 how would you enter this into the radio? Dumb question, unless you dont have the answer. Thanks :lol:

I couldn't resist reading your duplicate post. :lol: :wink: Since you are
the author of it you can delete it yourself, unless someone answers it before then.

Anyways, to answer the question, enter
2 1 .(for the dash) 1 1 0 then press E . You should now have entered the first TG
in your SCAN LISTS .

Make sure you enter all the system frequencies in the correct LCNs, set the channel to EDACS and the bank to EDACS first. If they have an LCN 3, for example, it MUST go in channel x03 in that bank.

Enter the TGs in the TG list using the method above.

The best way to program any of these scanners is to get the appropriate WIN XX program from Don Starr's page... makes altering and storing the freqs so much easier....
