I just purchased a pro164, the programming cable, and ARC software.
When I try to load additional freqs with the Dell D600 laptop, it corrupts the existing
entries and puts in lots of odd and repeated freqs, which includes
several tv freqs, but leaves the tags intact. I have also put in the
firmware update. I CAN load freq manually with out corruption. I have updated the windows/Dell driver for the usb port, too.
Soooo, I tried the exact same setup on the Gateway desktop computer, and everything works good. But I really need the use of the laptop for enroute trip changes. By the way I have tried another cord as well.
