Programming for Whistler TRX‑1

I'm new here and really have NO clue what I'm doing. Now that I got out I can get to the point. I have a new Whistler TRX‑1 that I would like to find someone in the Kansas City area that could help me get this thing set up for the family member I got it for. I'm on the east side of the city, if anyone want to put in some input that would be great.

Unfortunately I only have a Apple computer and the software is not compatible.

That is going to a somewhat of a problem because the radio tends to get regular firmware updates and weekly library/database updates via the Windows based EZ Scan software.

Someone could potentially create a configuration for you, save it to and SD card and hand it to you. However, keeping it up-to-date would be a challenge unless of course everything in your area is very stable and unchanging (it's possible).
