Hello,

I am looking for guidance on how to program a local amateur radio (HAM) DMR motoTURBO repeater into my BCD436HP Scanner. I have purchased the Uniden DMR key and am able to monitor local county agencies that use digital radios. Here are the details from the club website about the repeater: DMR 444.8125 MHz +5MHz, CC 1, TG and TS. I attached a screenshot to the site as it's listed in the radioreference database.

Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Program this as a One Frequency DMR System, the site is this frequency with the Color Code. The you can add a Deptment with a list of talkgroups and their associated timeslots; if the timeslot is unknow, then set it to “Any”. As for the analog on you are showing; perhaps the radioreference database is out of date; which isn’t surprising at all.

Repeater

Just an FYI. Motorola (Mototrbo) does not build any amateur equipment, and with the exception of the recent ham DMR HT from Hytera, ham dmr radios are mostly CCR units. Motorola and Hytera repeaters are used for amateur systems because they are available and cover the necessary frequencies.

The frequencies are different so it could also be two entirely different repeaters. :)
