I hope this does not sound too elementary, but when I enter the 700MHZ frequencies for LATIE into my 996, it only lets me enter 4 numbers after the decimal point. I see in the listings that LATIE uses 5 digits after the decimal point in the frequency. How do I set the scanner to accept the 5 digits?

How Much does that affect reception, i am guessing not
None at all. You are talking about a resolution of 50 Hz either way, which even with the super narrow band allocation (6.25 KHz) is nothing.

Look at it actual Hertz numbers:
Actual LATIE Frequency: 774031250 Hz
Uniden 396/996 resolution: 774031200 Hz
(on this you only see to the hundred Hz level or 7740312 Hundred Hz)

anybody know the exact freq on the latie system for terrebonne SO????????
Wouldn't that be the Gray tower (Site 116) on the LATIE System? Your question leads me to believe that you may not understand how a Trunking System works, if that is the case read Trunking Basics in our Wiki.

BTW, Welcome to the forums after being a member for so long. :)
