Programming NHP 151 MHz Trunk System

Is this system consider a Motorola Type 2 VHF trunk system. If so, what is the recommended base (1) frequency, (2) spacing frequency, and (3) offset channel/s. My scanner allows for three different configurations of the above. I'm not sure if I need to configure for three. Can anyone explain how the base frequency, spacing, and offset is computed?
