Need help please. I'm trying to download trunking system info from RadioReference with ARC500 in order to program the scanner. The following appears with the three systems I want to get:
System 1 Sites 5 Groups 38 Talkgroups 397
System 2 Sites 6 Groups 10 Talkgroups 72
System 3 Sites 1 Groups 2 Talkgroups 16
I think I understand that I would like the different sites within each system to be on a different scanlist so I can disable certain sites if needed, so I think I need to bring them over to the ARC500 program separately assigned to individual scanlists.
My main question is, do I need to check all of the groups and talkgroups within each system?
Also, should the scanner be in program mode when I do the download or does it matter?
There will probably be more questions later.....this stuff isn't easy by any means!
