programming Pro 197

I'm having problems programming the Pro-197. I got the Arc 500 download software and downloaded the frequencies onto my scanner. When I try to scan, a message comes up saying "Nothing Enabled". I read the instructions and try to enable the frequencies with no luck. I'm still getting the same message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm very green at doing this as this is the first time I've tried to program a digital scanner.

You haven't selected any scan lists. Use the number pad to enable one or more scan lists.
