programming procedure freqs needed for 137 to 174mhz

hi everyone, i have a radioshack 2055 here its 1000 tripple trunking. i was wondering if anyone can help me out with the frequencies and offsets etc that is needed to program this scanner sucessfully for vhf hi band trunking 137 mhz to 174mhz also a step by step procedure in doing this .thx in advance david newcastle nsw australia

Well, hate to tell you this, but you wasted your money buying that scanner to cover that VHF Hi trunk band. The australian VHF Hi trunk bands use mainly MPT1327 trunk protocol, which that model, or any of the trunk tracking scanners don't do. Most trunk scanners only do the following protocols- Motorola type 1, type 2 and variants, EDACS and LTR.
Only way I know of to monitor and track the MPT1327 systems is using scanners hooked to various software packages that are available.

UP where you are in Newcastle there is extensive coverage on the NSW GRN in the UHF band, which that scanner should cover.

theres **** all

theres no sites here in newcastle ,i found 1 place thatll do my scanners theyll do them for $120 for 3 scanners nothing is for nothing thse days , cheers david , ps i passed my foundation test doing that weas easier than trying to program trunking scanners it took me 7 times but i passed david nsw
