After failed attemps to manually program my Pro-94 scanner, I am going to attempt to program via computer/softeware.
I want to program the scanner to monitor the Columbus, OH Fire Division and a few of the surrounding Fire Departments [only].
I purchased the following USB cable today: Radio Shack # 20-047.
Questions,
[1] Will Scancat Light Software allow programming of both the frequencies and talk group data for the Pro-94?
[2] Will the USB cable I purchased work with the Scancat Light Software?
{I have been told many different things regarding cables vs software}.
[3] Is there any other [better] software programs to recommend?
ANY input, suggestions, pointers, etc are much appriciated!
