programming scanner

I have tried to program my pro-106, I have followed the instruction and watched the youtube videos
the scanner seems to be getting a signal because the signal indicator shows strong but there is no
audio. I programmed the scanner with conventional setting and I can receive audio and it scans all the channels. I just would like to use all the features. Help please.

I was using dsta from this site for or local public safety. I think I gonig to rest default and start over.
