I'm not sure if my DMR channels are programmed correctly.
I'm very new to my TRX-1. Programmed using RRDB, I haven't heard any traffic in 4 days.

Are there "tweaks" I should pay attention too?
I heard of a DMR scan that I can do and I believe I tried that correctly, several times.
Information online is very helpful, although it often contradicts itself per operator.

Any advice here?

What is your city, county, and state, and which DMR frequencies, systems, or talkgroups do you want to monitor?

Keep in mind that the word is that Whistler scanners can't trunktrack DMR / MOTOTRBO systems; they simply decode the mode. On systems that aren't too busy, that might be OK, but on busier systems it won't work well. Once we know where you are, we'll see if this is what is causing you issues.

Give this a file a try and see how it works. It will show you how to set up DMR systems.

One thing you can do with TRX scanners are to set the earphone jack to IF output. If you connect a earphone or audio cable to PC or active speakers you'll hear the same thing that the scanner do.

If you can hear that it scans and then stops on data signals it is receiving the systems okay and you have to check that you haven't set skip to all TG's or a similar setting that will not allow the scanner to monitor the call.

If you only hear noise it could be that the scanner do not have the sites enabled in scan or the attenuator are on or you have a bad antenna.
