Hi all, is there a free or demo software that will let me read my pro-97 and copy it to my pro-528. I tried the arc 300 & 433 trial versions but cant seem to get it to work. Thanks

The PRO-97 is made by GRE and the PRO-528 is made by Uniden. Let alone free, there's one program that might claim to do that, but I would not use it as it can't even program correctly.

Is there a program that will copy a uniden 246, 346 or 396 and write to the pro 528 ?

Wirelessly posted (Moto Droid Bionic: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 4.0.4; en-us; DROID BIONIC Build/6.7.2-223_DBN_M4-23) AppleWebKit/534.30 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/534.30)

If -- and that is a big if -- the software supports importing and/or exporting to CSV file formats, you might get lucky and be able to massage the data to convert between radios.

NO.
You can copy the data from the WIN97 using the ARC300 program, then enter it into the ARC-433 program and put it into your 528.

Nope - you're going across 2 different memory technologies here - the Unidens use DMA, the 528 standard banks

As mentioned before, your best bet is to dump the 528 to an Excel file (or something that's columnar in nature), then use FreeScan's EZ Grab function to pull the data in. As long as the data is in columns or in a table, you might be able to do it this way. You may need to finagle (yes that's a techie term :D) with the way the data is delimited.
