BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Programming startup screen

When I got my BCD996P2 I programmed the startup screen to put my name on the last line. That was a few years ago. Recently I reprogrammed the scanner and this put the screen back to the original.
I can’t remember how to do this. Can anyone help me?

What software are you using to program the scanner?

I believe this can only be done via software like Freescan

Thank y’all! I have FreeScan. Now it’s coming back to me.
I have my name put in so if stolen, I can tell the law and pawn shops about that.

If you're worried about someone stealing it, you should make note of the serial number. Each one is unique to each scanner.
If the crook knows anything about programming a scanner with software (highly doubtful), they can remove that message.
