Good morning all,

Let's say I am looking to put different parts of the GCRCN (Greater Cleveland Radio Communications Network) on different banks. For instance, If I have the tower/control channels in bank 1 with some tg's, can I just toss some different tg's into bank 2? Or do the tower/control channels have to be programmed into bank 2 as well?

I was using ARC500 but trial ran out. So now I'm using PSRedit500 to get as much programmed into the radio CORRECTLY that I can before THAT trial runs out. Can't afford either at the moment so I'm trying to make do. So if there's any other software that works, I would greatly appreciate the push.

Thanks,
James

Scanner doesn't have banks, but scan lists. Talkgroups can go in as many scanlists as you wish.

Don't worry about the control channels they are in a system for your TRS and will work right by placing the talkgroups in the scanlists.

The WS1040 does not have banks. It has scan lists. The only other programming software is Win500. All are paid programs. I use ARC500 Basic for my programming. In PSREdit500, double click on a talkgroup. Put a check mark in the box for Scan List Membership and remove the check mark from the old scan list. Click on Apply.
