I just bought one today and installed the sentinel software on my PC

Now How to I create a custom bank to monitor a la win97?

It has all the database loaded and the zip code option scans about 50 miles around you . I even brought it down to 2 miles but it still scans a huge territory.

So in the favorite, I just added some of the pre existing frequencies but it doesn't seem to scan the favorites continuous. What am I doing wrong?

To scan the favorite continuous, you need to turn off the national database:
Menu->Set Scan Selection->Select Lists to Monitor->Full Database OFF

In sentinal, to create a custom "bank" AKA favorite list, go to the USA database, click the +, go to your state, click the +, go to your county, click the +. Find what you want to include in your favorite list, and right click on it, and choose Append to Favorite". Then in the dialog box, give it an existing favorite list to add it to, or create a new one.

After creating favorites, go into Profile, and select Monitor On, Upload ON for the new favorites list(s).

Thanks guys, I got 4 custome 'favorites' added.

I feel like with the zip code feature, it scans too wide of an area and I'm only interested in some frequencies
