I tried googling and then searching this forum before posting and didn’t have any luck.

Has anyone had success programming their FTM-500DR from a Raspberry Pi? I know it’s still relatively new, but just checking to see if anyone else has had any luck. I imagine one could use Wine to install the RT Systems Software but has anyone been able to install any of the RT Systems programming software on a linux machine before?

I also understand that CHIRP may have this functionality some day but the radio is simply too new. Does anyone know what the general turn around is for new radios on CHIRP?

Send your FT5 in so someone can figure it out. That's how they do it.

DON"T USE CHIRP ON A YAESU DIGITAL RADIO!!! There have been radios bricked by using Chirp and Yaesu has repeatedly said they won't repair them.
