Programming the Uniden BCD 396T

I'm new to scanning so please forgive this question from a marine. In Radio Reference there are times when it says frequency and the next column says Input (ie Virginia Stars system/State Police). My Question is, do I enter both frequencies? Thanks for the help.

The input referes to the input of the repeater. You just need the Output of the repeater for monitoring so just ignore the Input.
