Greetings all,

I am attempting to program my RS Pro-96 to a trunk OPP (Provincial Police) band but I honestly have no clue what I am doing and I could use a step by step lesson to program it in.

Here is a link to the system I want to program in Ontario Provincial Police Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

I would greatly appreciate the assistance,

Rob

Looks like they are all conventional freqs. Pages 17 and 30 in the manual will get you started.

In search of a programmer for a RS Pro-96

I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could program my Pro-96, I don't have the PC cable of the software and my attempts at programming it by hand have been largely fruitless. I don't know much about these things, so I was wondering if I could recruit some help. Also I don't think I have the latest firmware on the scanner as well.

First, this is more of a local problem for someone in Ontario to help you with, so I have moved and merged your two topics into one topic in Ontario.

Next, the trunking system that you are attempting to monitor cannot be programmed without software (such as Win96) and a programming cable because it requires that a multi-table band plan be set up; that is only accessible via software.
