Hello new to programming scanners. I need to program about 100 frequencies all police and ems frequencies. Should I put them all in private. or program them into police and private. Can I lock out permanently the Air/ Mrn band. Thanks for all and any help.

I don't think you can re-program the search's already in there, so I would put your freqs into the private bank. And I don't think you can lock out the whole Air/Marine bank either, although you can lock out the freqs in there.

I usually program all of the frequencies that i can into the Private Bank. I believe there is limited programming available in some of the other banks.

The only banks that DON'T have programming available are WX and CB.
