My scanner is a BCD996P2. I use Proscan for software. With WSP there is the King Lake site and King Simulcast both with a very good signal here. Is it best to program both of these sites or just one or the other?
Also I notice that in Proscan in State Systems there is WSP conventional system in the state systems and also a P25 system in the county trunking systems drop down. What's the story on that?

There's not much activity on the King Lake site so it doesn't matter. If you're mobile then program all of the sites but if the scanner is at home then just Site 201 is fine. Less sites means quicker scanner response. The conventional VHF is mostly used outside the tri-county area so you don't need to worry about it.

Scanner stays at home (North Seattle). I am not certain what site 201 is, can you elaborate a little?
