Seminole county fl. went to project 25, ive set up all the right things. My question is project 25 phase 1 is it nfm or just fm, reason I ask is im getting a good signal s-5 but it is garbled , and does the data decode rate make a difference mine is set to low 75 and high 95 ? using psr 800

i monitor Cleveland's P25 system and have mine set at 49 for data decode works 100% better
They are garbled because they are using LSM simulcasting. Highly recommend you get a yagi for
850 MHz, point it at one of the towers, maybe turn up the squelch. Or just turn on the attenuator

my GRE-800 is set to FM the NFM did not work as well i'm maybe a mile from the tower
