“Not only are we pleased to show that the Tyco Electronics Wireless Systems’ radios operated successfully within the P25
requirements, but we are delighted the industry is working together to advance interoperability,” said Paul May, business
development manager, Tyco Electronics Wireless Systems. “The results of the testing further prove that Tyco Electronics
Wireless Systems’ P25 enabled radios work with other manufacturers’ P25 communications systems. This testing effort
should help America’s first responders identify the extent to which interoperability both increases their ability to serve,
and, through open competition, lowers their operational budgets.”
