Guys,
Everyone that owns a modern Uniden scanner knows the requisite boost in audio that occurs when you set a conventional channel or TRS to NFM instead of FM (along with other things going on in the background that UPMan has alluded to).
My question is a simple one - what modulation setting should I be using to optimize the decoding of true P25 systems & mix-mode Moto Type-II systems that run almost 100% in digital?
I can't remember if in the past people spoke of always putting a digital system to FM, regardless of weather or not the system was on narrowband frequencies (ie - 502.250 instead of 502.2375, etc...).
