ProScan and .NET

Hi, was running proscan 17.8 I think and I just installed sdr# for airspy which downloaded .NET 5. Now proscan complains it needs .NET 4.0 and won't start (including other software)
I cannot see any requirements on the Proscan page, so if anybody knows, would you tell me what version of .NET Proscan will tolerate? I see there is .NET V 6 out already.
Running old Windoze 7 on Corei5.

ProScan uses the .NET Framework 4.8. You didn't uninstall or disabled any .NET Framework versions. Did you?

Don't remove 5.0. .NET versions are designed to co-exist and other apps will stop working.
