Hello:
I just downloaded Proscan, using with SDS-200. I am using the 30 day trial to see if its works for me. The manual was not available prior to downloading (Per Bob @ Proscan) so I am now scrambling to read it to test the application in 30 days or (4 weekends, 8 days for me).

Does anyone have a document or FAQ for setting up with the SDS-200 that is more specific than the provided manual?

My goal is to use Proscan to remote control the scanner and stream the live audio to any web browser. The product description seems to indicate this is possible but It would be great to confirm that someone has done this successfuly.

Thanks....

What about the docs in the lower right area of the proscan.org site? They are written for the BCD536HP but the setup in ProScan is exactly the same for the SDS200.

Use PROSCAN to control the scanner.
Use ANYDESK and remote into the PC to make admin changes I do it all the time running 16 scanners.
Do not forget you can put the SDS200 into MASS STORAGE REMOTELY WITH PROSCAN AND DO ALL THE PROGRAMMING WITH ANYDESK REMOTELY.

I will check the proscan site again. I initially could not find a link to the manual and asked the publisher who said i needed to install the app to get the manual.

if something is written specifically for tge 536 or sds models, that might help.

maybe I was tired last night but I found that following the manual included with tge app was difficult.

Looking at the last nights emails, I didn't say anything like that. I do have a link for the manual on the web site. If only you asked. But now that I think about, I'm going to remove it as I think it's better for the new users to actually try the software. Most if not all of your questions may be answered.

Yes, like I said in my last post, it's located in the lower right area of the proscan.org site.
Here is the direct link.

Bob:
I did email your support email a week or so ago saying I could not find any reference to the manual or a link on your main page. Your prompt response told me to download the trial as the manual was included. I don't remember reading anything about a link to the manual being on the website. If I was told that, I would have downloaded it and read it. I can dig up you email response if needed!

To your point about removing the manual, a mistake but your choice. Many folk plan their project, read the materials, etc.

Thanks for the 536 links, I'll use those and translate to SDS when needed.

I found it. Basically you said you are about to purchase ProScan and I replied "Before you purchase, I always recommend to try the 30 day fully functional demo/trial.

{edit} Sorry if I seem to be nitpicking but I always want to clear up any misinformation when appropriate.
