I am get in an error that says 'Scanner must be communicating for the scanner restart to work' I am able to program everything without any problems but once this error message pops up the program freezes and I have to start over again.
What scanner? Does it happen when the scanner is in Mass Storage Mode? if yes, then this is normal. I don't have Proscan in front of me right now but I do believe the prompt can be disabled somewhere within the app

It the SDS 200, and yes it does happen when its in mass storage mode. The problem is when that message comes up I can click ok all day and it wont go away until I restart the program and if it comes up before I write to the scanner I lose everything I done.

Don't know if it would add to the problem. When this happens, try turning off the scanner. Wait a few seconds for any card writes to complete. Turn on the scanner and choose mass storage mode to see if it will reconnect.

I can't duplicate the freezing problem. I hit the Click button and the audio loss dialog goes away. I can see one improvement and that is to gray out (disable) the Scanner Restart button if the scanner data or protocol is not communicating since the restart function depends on ProScan communicating with the scanner protocol.
{edit} I see the problem. It's another message appearing that won't go away. It will be fixed in the next release.
