I was wondering if anyone knew of any ProScan like software out there for SDR radios? I would like a nice user front end for accessing recordings and also tracking active channels names.

I'm sure this question has been posed before, but I couldn't find anything and thought I would ask. Thank you for any and all help.

What software are you using? If using SDR# with Frequency Manager and Audio Recorder plugins you can do what you are after. Once all your freqs are imported the channel name will display in the UI. These channel names will also be included in the .wav files generated by audio recordings. I just run through all my recordings at the end of a day/week to see what has been active, then add anything new to Freq Manager.

If your using your SDR for digital modes such as DMR or P25, use SDRTrunk. Not sure of a good software for Analog modes.

I am using SDRTrunk. I am using RadioFeed for streaming audio to my internal network. That being said, what I'm looking for is to better parse the logs in SDRTrunk so I can get the channel information to display correctly on RadioFeed and I'm also looking for a decent front end to access recordings. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, shoutout to the developers of SDRTrunk and RadioFeed. You guys ROCK!!!!

If you have a Linux machine around, RDIO-Scanner is another alternative front end for playing recordings. It will accept feeds from SDRTrunk, trunk-recorder, and a couple of others.
