When I open ProScan it offers me a newer firmware version and when I click for the latest version it tells me downloading is complete and hit finish to install, but when I hit finish, it just closes out the program and when I reopen it, it's still the original firmware? Am I doing something wrong?

thanks

Are you talking about the programming software app or firmware? After downloading the new ProScan software version, I had to extract and run the new file in the Downloads folder to update it.

Ok, thank you both for your response. I found the file and extracted it and it is fine for now....
Now I've downloaded 2 csv files from the database and I'm unable to open them, or do I just upload them to the software? and if so, how?
sorry about the questions, but this is all new to me.

thanks

Proscan doesn't update scanner firmware. I'm assuming you're talking about the latest version of the Proscan app itself? Check your Downloads folder for the installer's zip file

With ProScan, you can import directly into the program and not use the CSV files.
From the ProScan menu:
DATABASE
IMPORT
RR Web
Then enter your RR login info, click "Remember Me" then Connect
Choose your Country
Choose your State
Then you have options to do Statewide, County, etc

This is dependent on the OP having an RR account.
