Are you talking about the Alert Color and Slow or Fast Blink? I'll put it on the list. I think this is more of a suggestion then a con.


The Favorites List are in the file "f_list.cfg" They are named exactly like in the Favorites Editor (which can be renamed) and in the scanner. One of the objectives of ProScan is to follow the scanner database structure exactly. In line with that, I will keep it the way it is now.

Ive imported the following system and a few others

using Proscan I have all favorite lists disabled except for the one with this system in it
and all i get is nothing to scan

seems if i enter the system using proscan it wont work i can go into scanner edit favorite and its all in there it just wont scan it

if i enter it directly into 436/536 it will scan??

its gotta be something simple im not seeing

Go into the menu Set Scan Selection -> Select Lists to Monitor then turn on the Favorite list.

This happened because a new file was created with a new Favorites list. The new favorites was defaulted to Scan Off. Next release will be changed to default On on the Favorite list .

Easier way to assign colors depending on service type

This is implemented already. It's in the Find & Replace function under the Utilities menu. Select Conv. or Trunking Channels. Select Service Type for the parameter. Select the Alert Color in the Find What box.

I'm using Pro|Scan and uniden 436 to monitor NXDN and I bough the key but for some reason a get no audio at all.

Anybody else having problems getting audio using Proscan? This is the group I want to follow:

Is the 436 scanning the system in question? If no, did you import the Site/s and frequencies. Did you import the department and TGID's? Try ID Search to see if it picks up traffic.

Did you try running lcn finder on the sites?
Looking at the db I’m thinking those Lcn’s may be wrong I could be wrong but I’m betting they are wrong

If you don’t have the correct lcn’s for each freq your not gonna hear anything
