Proscan: programming new Bcd,996p2

Proscan programming question . I have 2 uniden bcd996p2 scanners. One is working fine and is programmed among other things for Alabama Airs system.. I have taken the file downloaded from my older 996 and sent it to the new one that has never been programmed. It uploads to new one , scans, but never stops on any activity. I Also programmed a local p25 system I know works in my old scanner. . Again it programs, scans but it never stops on anything. I know the scanner can "hear" because it receives well in weather mode. I know the local test ststem should be proper program since it works in other 996. Is there something in Proscan I need to turn on to make the new 996 work since it has never been programmed,? Yes sir, I checked to be sure. Thanks for the reminder. I have accidently done a high squelch in the past. I just found the issue by changing some settings. The new 996 needed a different threshold setting. I experimented with some settings there and it seems to be working now
