I have 55 systems in my BCD996P2.

Is there a way to download a single system, edit it, send it back to the scanner and merge the edited system back into the larger database?
Right now when I download a single system for editing, it looks like it's standing alone and no longer a part of the larger database file.
Sorry if this is an elementary question.

What's the most efficient way of doing this short of downloading all systems, editing one, and then uploading all systems? Thanks

When you upload the data back to the scanner in Proscan you're presented with a series of checkboxes corresponding to each favorites list. Only check the box corresponding to the favorites list which contains the system you want to update. UNCHECK "Erase all favorites lists" otherwise you'll lose the other lists. Hope I'm understanding correctly

I understand you but how does that merge the edited system into the larger database file? It sounds like it's merged in the radio but is it in the database?

When you download, select just the system you want to download. Uncheck the check box "Delete All Systems In The Database Before Downloading". After you make the changes then Upload that system. Uncheck the check box "Delete All Systems In The Scanner Before Uploading"

Backup your data before any database operation.
