ProScan: ProScan Question

Using ProScan (paid version) for the first time with BCD996P2. I just need to do some talk group editing for now. Probably something silly I'm missing. I can connect to the scanner ok it seems, virtual control shows up and works, logging is working, everything seems just fine. When I click on database tab underneath the virtual control the "Download from Scanner" tab is greyed out. It won't let me read the scanner so I can edit my talk groups. What am I missing here?

It's a BCD996P2 scanner. Probably a database file wasn't opened.

The 996P2 Does not have mass storage like the x36's or SDSx00's

That was it. I didn't have to do that in Freescan. I did the unthinkable, read the instructions and figured it out!
