Ive setup ProScan for Remote Over IP and can control the scanner remotely but i get no audio.
On the PC i csn hear it fine. I can also stream audio fine but ProScan on the remote PC doesnt have any audio at all.
I think its all setup correctly but still no audio.
Is there a trick to getting audio on ROIP?

Determine if the problem is on the server or client side. Start with the Server. Go to the Audio Control -> RSOIP tab. Look at the Capture side. Do you see the level meters move? If not then check the Input Sound Device is set to the correct input. Also check the Left and Right level controls are at 100% on the used input and 0% on the unused input. On the client side, go to the Audio Control -> RSOIP tab. Look at the Playback side. Do you see the level meters move? Insure the level controls are in the middle. Insure the Output Sound Device is set correctly and the computer speakers levels are up.

OK, In Audio Control, RSOIP the left side (Capture) both left and right move. On the right side (Playback) nothing is moving. All are at 100%
The graphics has the left side going from 2 to 1 and touching the internet circle. On the right there is only 2 lines, they dont touch the internet circle.

As I said if I turn on Web Server I can hear it on any web app that streams like TuneIn or even a web page. Not just locally but over the internet so I know it can output but RSOIP connects without audio.
Even when I try the 2nd PC with remote ProScan it will connect to the WebServer but that also has no sound. If that PC connects any other way, web or tunein it gets audio.
But as you said in the server side, its not outputting audio on RSOIP so thats the first thing I need fixed.

Since you are in Mono mode, turn down the unused channel to 0%.

That's okay. The Playback side is not used on the server side.

Insure the loopback is off for the RSOIP by going to the Monitor & Test tab on the server side.
If the Web Server works then perhaps the problem is on the client side.
Try restarting ProScan Client side and see what happens. If the problem still exist then try restarting ProScan Server side and see what happens.

Both left and right work so its in stereo. I changed it from mono to stereo and now its 2 lines. Both still working, both still touching the internet bubble.

I restart both PCs in the morning so they are always fresh. Will try again in the morning and see how it goes. I changed the settings from mono to stereo to match the input. Haven't tried it out yet.

If you intend to broadcast in Stereo then you will need two audio sources. Change back to Mono mode and turn down the level of the unused input.

The input is stereo. Its coming from Line In which is a 2 channel stereo input.

I've tried again on both server and client and nothing is working. The server side looks all correct like you said before.
The client is all set up and it receives the radio but no audio. I can control it fine but cant hear anything.
I've turned servers on and off thinking if the web server is on then RSOIP wont work but that didn't fix it.
I had all servers on and nothing. I had all servers off except RSOIP and still nothing. Still can see and control on the client but no audio.
So the connection from server to client is there but nothing is letting the audio through.
I turned on the web server then on the client PC I loaded up the web page and "listen Live" and I can hear audio through that so I know the audio does stream just not to the ProScan app. The only problem is the stream is about 10 seconds delayed.

Can you post or email me the IP and port # so I can see if it's the client or server side.

I'd rather not give out my IP. I like to keep the stream private.
tested again and still no audio on client using ProScan app.
Audio stream works fine everywhere, just the proscan app refuses to hear the stream.

Next best thing is a post of screenshots of the server side Audio Control -> RSOIP tab and the Client side Audio Control -> RSOIP tab so we can see what's going on. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. It will eliminate some of the guesswork.

As you can see the client does connect but its got no audio.
Server = Windows 7
Client = Windows 10
That's why it looks a little different.
Same version of the app on both client and server.

On the client side make sure you have the input sound device set to none. That was the mistake I made with my setup.

Both images show regular ProScan. I use this setup all the time. The remote side should have ProScan Client in title bar and neither of these images have that and there won't be any source/webserver or remote audio options in the client side.

what? Why would I use client version when I want ROIP working? As you said ROIP doesn't work in client version so its obvious why I dont use that version.

Both machines will work with the full version of Proscan. I am using it that way. That gives you remote control of the scanner from a remote computer..

Ok, Didn't realize that the client didn't control it also. I mainly just listen and not control it so I used the client on the remote. I already have the main version setup on 2 different computers so I can't use it on the 3rd that has the client running. I just checked my setup and on the receiving end it is set to none for an input and it works. But I am using a 536 with wifi so I don't use any sound card inputs.
