Proscan is connected via url and ethernet cable. Loopback is checked. I can see audio on the scope.

On the windows mixer I see audio activity on the "Realtek Digital Output". However all of my connected speaker audio comes over "Speaker/Headphones (Realtek High Definition Audio). Under properties the "Realtek Digital Output" shows that I would have to hook up to optical or rca on my computer to hear it.

How do I get Proscan to send audio to "Speaker/Headphones (Realtek High Definition Audio) or reconfigure Windows?

Thanks,
Doug

Under Sound Settings I made the preferred output for the audio the Speakers... for Proscan. Still can't hear anything.

Go into the Audio Control tab then the Monitor & Test tab. Check the Loopback box. Select an audio service first. If not using an audio service then just select one of them such as Recorder. The audio recorder will have to be setup in the Audio Control Recorder tab before selecting the service.

Thank you. As originally posted I have the loopback box checked and the audio service is set to recorder. It doesn't matter which audio service used. I have them all set to URL and I see the audio is working but cannot hear them because ProScan is using a sound device I do not have hooked up. I've tried changing the default device in sound settings in Windows 10 but that doesn't seem to change anything. My speakers are plugged in to the "Speakers/Headphone" device and ProScan is sending the audio to "Realtek Digital Audio". I could plug a speaker into the rca or optical outputs and hear the audio (according to the device properties) which actually might be more convenient. I would like to learn why I can't manually change to the audio device desired.

Perhaps change the Output Sound Device in the Audio Control RSOIP tab and see if that makes a difference.
