ProScan: Proscan software problem

I tried post about this in the Uniden specific forum but can't due to "insufficient privileges"! I heard that that Proscan software is pretty good for Uniden scanners from a ham guy I know. I already have the Sentinel and ARC536PRO software for my Uniden SDS200 scanner, But when I tried to install the software, my WebRoot anti-virus says the DDL file is a trojan horse!! Likely a false positive but anyone know for sure? Anyone out there use this software? Do you like it if you have it?

Search the forums with keyword Proscan and you'll get a sense of just how many people here use it. You'll unearth thousands of positive testimonials, many from myself

Did you download it from www.proscan.org or another source? If you downloaded it from the legit site, turn Webroot off or add the installer file as an exception if given the option, run the installer and you'll be fine. I've been a user for well over a decade and have yet to have a machine self-destruct

@Whiskey3JMC I would like to download the the latest version of Proscan, but it seems that Proscan.org is off the internet. The browser goes to a blank page saying the site isn't there. Try going there yourself and see. I have been trying to go to the site off & on for the past few days.

It's been up. Are you going to ProScan ?
