Protests continue tonight, while mostly peaceful they did tear down two confederate soldier statues that have long been the site of protests and controversy in the city. All law enforcement pulled out of the site and let the demonstrators do what they were going to do. Demonstrators dragged the statues through the streets of Raleigh, hanging one on on a street light another dumped at the front door of the court house. All activity was on Viper statewide talkgroups.
