Hey gang! First post after sandbagging for a while. This is a fantastic resource for a person getting back into scanning, after I spent many years scanning all the conventional frequencies I could find from Police Call, etc...
So, last summer my trusty RS scanner (don't remember the number) was stolen from my vehicle. Pretty ticked off, but I didn't use it every day, so it wasn't a major loss. I haven't gotten around to getting a replacement until this weekend: bought a used Pro-164 off eBay, so I should be getting it in a couple days. Did a lot of research, *but* just realized today that most Providence municipal services use digital, and I just don't have the $$ for a digital scanner. Any recommendations/suggestions for interesting frequencies I could listen to from Providence? Looks like Prov and N. Prov are both digital (which was what I was aiming to listen to...)
Sorry for the newbie questions, but I feel like a tool for not finding this out earlier...
