ATG " Announcement Talk group". It is programmed under radio trunk system so even if on another talk group can hear a priority message from dispatch to large number of users without the users changing a channel.

An "All Talkgroup" is a priority talkgroup that is programmed into a fleet of subscriber radios. This talkgroup is used only in imminently dangerous situations (officer in distress, fire mayday, etc.)... No matter what channel an assigned subscriber is affiliated with, when the all talkgroup is transmitted upon by the ECC, the radio monitors that talkgroup for the duration. If the majority or the rest of an agency's talkgroups are encrypted, it's safe to assume the all talkgroup is as well.

Until someone Reports it - we may never know

However, if all the other channels are ENC, there would be no reason to NOT ENC the ATG, if it is actually used [Not all networks use an ATG, altho it maybe in the Consoles]

Yea, but is it encrypted like their other channels?
