Providence FD and Warwick FD radios down overnight

from Twitter - Providence FD and Warwick FD radio systems went down from midnight to approx 330 am - Providence FD units were told to use Backup Channel 1 (? 154.37?) - the area had high winds and rain overnight

I would expect a user of an 800 MHz trunked system to run 800 MHz backup channels. Perhaps it is one of the 7 conventional 800 MHz channels they are licensed on.

How was it only the FD and not PD when it's the same system?

Could have been they lost their console connectivity back to the core ?
so many assumptions can be made from here in the outside world
