No they did not. The frequencies are still the same. As of July 1st, all Prov Fire frequencies will be switching to the 800 Mhz frequency. I'm not sure of the exact frequencies yet but as soon as I find out I'll let you know.

So is there any confirmation if Prov Fire Alarm being on digital yet?

Prov Fire

On July 1st and 2nd, Prov Fire switched their channels 1 and 2 to digital. As of July 3rd, Channels 1, 2, and 3, are all back on the vhf band. Suposedly they didn't like the 800 mhz band. So if you have all the vhf channels you should be all set.

Thanks

If you live in the area and have a digital scanner, monitor whatever zone you can receive from the RI P-25 TRS and listen for a possible talkgroup ID. Also, visit www.scannewengland.us for some more in depth discussion of this trunk system in the message board forums.
