Hey Guys,

I can not figure this out I am typing the last nine numbers and it shows the SUM is 0FF? I typed in the right serial number.

0FF is a valid chechsum as it is in hex.

Question for your Guys that have the province installed? o the scanner will it tell you if the person in using provoice or not?

I noticed the Twiki post about two hours ago, DIDN'T follow any directions at all, WAS extremely careful to put all the alphanumeric numbers and letters in where required without error. I didn't even know how to enter the key, but a simple spin of the dial on the setup menu reviled the Upgrade option. And guess what?

One 436 and one 536 are Provoice upgraded WITHOUT ANY ISSUES!

It really isn't that hard if you are careful to enter everything in without error.

Now where are those Florida SLERS sites in Sentinel?

Thanks Kevin! I got it worked finally some how it wouldn't accept 0FF but it works now. Do I download the Provoice thru the Sentinel?

Should already be in the firmware... The key just unlocks it I think...

ON the bottom right corner where it says nfm it will say prv when provoice is decoding.

Hi Jamie! Yea I was listing for awhile to SLERS on the Clearwater site in id search mode had lots of encryption.... But check out HCSO and TPD lots of interesting Provoice there.

Yes sir, Right now the HCSO and TPD is quiet for their Provoice unless my Scanner isn't picking it up.

Edit...I finally got it working I picked up a UID Encrypt on Florida Statewide.

I just noticed that too. Soon as the squelch closes it's off...

I see that on my local PD too.. It is conventional... It has a 2 sec delay set...

OK... Maybe because it's conventional but using P25 Digital Voice...

I don't have anybody using P25 conventional near me that would be transmitting consistently for me to test. I guess I could put a trunk freq in in conventional mode...

Is the encryption treated the same way as P25 encryption - immediately skip the channel?

I got it working finally it wouldn't go pass the upgrade provoice part in settings in the 536.

Yes correct, If it's encrypted it will either stop on the talk group channel or it'll skip the channel.

Of course I seen a few "E" and I only hear the Walton County FL on the SLERS System. I live in Bay County.
