prs800 Stuck at logo screen

When I power on my prs800 it is stuck at the logo boot screen.
Boot screen looks like this:

GRECOM
EZ Scan-SD
DIGITAL ...

I upgraded the FW and DSP with the ezscan software w/o issue.
uP Boot: Ver: F1.0
uP App Ver:U2.0
DSP: 1.3

I also reformatted my sd card through the ezscan software for good measure. I was able to set the real time clock. Further testing, I cleared the password which resulted in the App version reporting Ver 0, a quick fw update fixed that issue and I was back to where I started.. frozen logo screen. When at this logo screen I am unable to shutdown by holding the power button, I must pull the usb cable. I have not used this scanner in years, not sure what is going on.

Try upgrading it again or try it on a newer computer perhaps yours is flawed.
Did you try taking the batteries out and leaving it for a few hours?
Another idea is to get a new SD card and reload everything to that new SD card.
I bricked mine once and it took me a few days but I got it back working.Dont despair!

All else fails send it to Whistler and get it upgraded to a WS1080 for $50.
